Dear Scottsdale City Council Members: As a DC Ranch homeowner, my family & friends will NEVER SUPPORT Great Hearts school. “Great Hearts’ policy isolates, stigmatizes, and delegitimizes transgender people. ... No person should ever have to endure the indignities that Great Hearts imposes on transgender students and their families,” ACLU Arizona Executive Director Alessandra Soler. The LGBTQ community in Arizona, the ACLU, Scottsdale voters and thousands of supporters will be heard. This project WILL NOT HAPPEN!

If the forces that be insist on a complete "separation of church and state," then we ought to at least consider a "separation of gender ideology-emotionalism and state."

GreatHearts is doing amazing! Their students out test nearly all competing Charters and district schools. They deserve to move forward with this project and give the community a park; also serving the needs of their student athletic programs.

Public parks and joint/shared use agreements with schools are the most cost-effective way for cities to provide much needed local accessibility to neighborhood amenities for physical activity. Ask any public health official: this is a no-brainer for both parties. The idea is right. Now let's get the details right too.

Put your money where it belongs. I just looked at your school statistics and you really need to put your money into better teachers, not athletic fields.

Scottsdale Prep is an exemplary school that is need of a field the city of Scottsdale will be doing this school and the community it serves a huge service in the approval of the field.
