He was outrageous to stop her from doing what she shouldn’t have been because she felt justified?!?! And it is OUTRAGEOUS that the school superintendent issued an apology instead of backing their teacher - SHAME ON THEM. Do the right thing instead of caving to people that make a lot of noise!

...talk about example to the kids: how about showing your child how to act as if you are above the rules, they don't apply to you, how about accountability....take responsibility for your actions...next time you won't be late for Starr testing.

This teacher did an outstanding job. This parent was in the wrong and broke the rules! I’m tired of seeing people play the victim card. Act like an adult and own up to your mistakes.

This is an example of selfless service. I would be so lucky to have a man of such high caliber watching over my child. Aaron down not deserve any punishment that would jeapordize his career.

I don't live in this community, but I certainly hope the teachers here would be just as persistent about protecting the children at their schools.

This woman felt her time was more valuable than the students safety. This teacher obviously cares about the safety of his students over everything else! Good for him!

Teachable moment- the parent is setting a horrible example for her children AND she’s a former teacher? She should know better. Celebrate the HERO coach and Issue a traffic ticket to the parent in violation.
