Do not bring more shame on your school district and city by bringing punishment on this American hero. Instead, thank this man for giving you an opportunity to communicate through your actions that your district backs it's teachers and will not tolerate irrational parent behavior.

I love how she knowingly cut across the elementary school, purposely wanted to be let past the cones, intentionally ignored the first teacher that tried to block her and then got angry a second one tried to and successfully stop her, admittedly said it was Bc she was late AND STILL THOUGHT SHE WAS RIGHT in this situation.
Kids safety should always be first and he was only trying to uphold that. He should not be penalized for it. Period.

As a veteran teacher, I would love to ha e your Coach do drop-off duty at my school. He deserves a raise, not harassment for stopping this entitled mom.

Drop off line if she cannot follow directions.

This teacher was doing his job! The mother is the one needing to be penalized! I can’t even believe the media made such a big case on her behalf! No, wait a minute I can, what am I saying, it’s the media! This teacher should be commended for PROTECTING HIS STUDENTS! The mother needs to get up earlier!

I support your action taken to protect your students. Your NONVIOLENT and professional demeanor by identifying yourself and clearly stating that she needs to turn around is a tribute to your dedication and love of your school and students. The fact that this mom shows HER children that breaking rules, disregarding the safety for young students, CONTINUING to drive THROUGH said parking lot, speaks volumes for this woman's character. She should have received a ticket AND the principal should STAND UP AND PROTECT THIS TEACHER...period!!!!

The lady was 110% wrong. In her eyes her daughter being late was more important the children’s safety. I applaud the teacher fir trying to stop her

Rita should be ticketed. I work in an elementary school and children have almost been hit because of parents too rushed to follow the rules.
