Great job, bet if her kids would of been hit by a car because a teacher just let a car pass she would of filled legal papers.

I’m proud of him! The cones are there to ensure the children’s safety. She was putting young children in danger of getting hit by a car in an area that they assumed they were safe from traffic. She should get a ticket and he should get an award.

Every school in America needs a teacher like him ! Great job !

No disciplinary action should be brought against a man doing his job. The woman in the video is ridiculous to have brought this matter to television especially when she was in the wrong to begin with. She's blaming him as though he started the issue when the real issue is she was late and decided that she would cut through an active school drop-off so she could drive through a barricaded area to drop off her kids. They attempted to stop her twice and she kept going! She was obviously not concerned that she was possibly endangering other kids or could have potentially caused an accident with another vehicle who was actually following procedures. It perplexes me that this same woman, who was attempting to break the rules has the audacity to point the finger at this teacher as though she is totally blameless. Let us put the blame on the real perpetrator of this situation, the video parent, and praise the man who used an unconventional means to protect the kids of his school.

I am a teacher..have worked pick up lanes.. I would do anything to protect “my kids”! The cones are there for a reason!!! Give Rita a ticket for not following procedures and endangering the lives of students! Thank you to this teacher who had the bravery to take care of his students!! To punish him just again shows that teachers have no value in what they do every single day!!

In no way should this PE teacher be disciplined. The woman driving the car in a restricted area was wrong. What is she hit a child?

This teacher needs a raise. That mother cared only about herself and felt she was to important for rules.

She could’ve ran over someone’s baby! That man was just doing his job protecting those kids so nobody got ran over! Leave this man alone!

This teacher was right to do what he did. It's so shameful that the parent is seriously trying to make him appear to have anger issues.

Perhaps a knee jerk reaction to stave off a potentially tragic occurrence. I get it... Job well done, sir! Rita was wrong. She needs to fully acknowledge that and issue a public apology. Was she trespassing? Does she deserve a moving violation? Belly flopped in her SUV? Any reportable damage to Rita’s vehicle? Bye Rita! There’s nothing to see here, carry on....

I commend him for his actions had this women hit a child then what. She should be sited for her actions. What makes her time more important than those that were ahead of her? Thank you for doing your job trying to keep our children safe.

Dulles Administration &School Board: Let's stop worrying about offending parents who don't follow rules and support your outstanding teacher who is doing the job you hired him to do. Would you have rather this story be a dead or injured child?

I support the teacher. He was right to stop her. It's a shame she was videoing and driving at the same time with a man on her hood. Perhaps she should set a better example for her children by filling rules.

This teacher is a HERO!! Rules are rules, and are in place for the safty of the children! You don’t get to put those children at risk because you are late! This teacher was in the right!
