Rita was in the wrong. She admitted she went thru the cones meant to keep vehicles out. How dare you apologize to her. You should be giving this teacher an accommodation. He potentially protected the lives of children.

What that mother did was dangerous. That teacher was the last line of defense and he was going above and beyond to insure their safety.

We should only be so lucky as to have teachers like him. The parent should be punished

The driver is a former teacher? She is not acting as a person that promotes intellectual growth. She is hindering the educational principle to respect the rules and regulations that provide physical protection and moral guidance of our youth. The couch that jumped on the car observed an unsafe action of a wireless and careless individual that lacks respect for the safety and well-being of other parents and children.

As a parent, I would want coach young as an adult responsible for my kids. Any adult that would go to that length to protect children from irresponsible and reckless behavior such as Rita's has my respect. She, however, gets none of my respect, nor pity. State testing or not, it's her and her childrens own fault for not being on time.

The teacher went about and beyond to protect our children. Why should he be punished? I support the Coach 100%!

Cutting through school lines to beat traffic if you are running late is very dangerous. Lives are more important than tardies. I applaud this teacher. I can’t tell you the number of times I have almost been run over by parents when I was holding a STOP SIGN for elementary students walking to school.
