The only teachable moment here is one where ALL teachers should be told that this is a model of commitment and dedication. This teacher is a hero and one with fierce courage. Rita is a self-entitled fool and, along with those reporters and TV executives, they represent what’s wrong with society today. It should be embarrassing to the school that they ever suspended this teacher for one second. They should create an assembly to honor him. And someone should create a GoFundMe so we can offset any losses or expenses he’s incurred. Well done sir!!!

Give this man a medal, not a reprimand. I wish more people held our niebors accountable.

Parents need to follow rules regardless of whether or not they are running late. Parents need to set the example and follow the rules. Clearly the cones and flow of traffic are there for a reason.

This teacher deserves praise for protecting the kids. Someone needs to ticket the parent driving recklessly

The teacher is a hero trying to protect students. How dare he be suspended to appease someone who thinks they are entitled to break the rules just because they can’t get to school on time like everyone else does.

This teacher did his job. If more had the courage to shut down entitled parents, our kids would be far better off. He deserves a raise, not disciplinary action.

Self-important and entitled parents who violate school traffic rules are not ‘victims’. This teacher did his job: protect students and risked his own safety to do so.

This man did nothing wrong and I for one am happy to see that he cares enough about the students to stop her by any means necessary

The mother should have been following the rules for the safety of all children

He deserves no punishment. He did the right think. Rita is the one needs discipline.

This teacher was right on 100% of the way! He was protecting OUR babies from a woman who had zero regard for following the rules and she endangered the lives of these babies by doing so! This teacher deserves a thank you!
