Coach Young’s actions embodied everything we ask of our educators these days, including risking life and limb to protect the children in his care. He shouldn’t be punished for this. Thanks for having his back. I pray the school board does too.

This situation probably could have been avoided if the parent had just followed the rules instead of thinking they don't apply to her. We have issues like this every day at our school and I wish we had teachers as committed to safety as this one.

Good job for the teacher. He did what it took to make her stop. This mother who thinks rules do not apply to her should receive a fine!!!

The parent was in the wrong not Mr. Morgan. You cannot punish him! The school district needs to put tighter barricades in place to prevent someone from driving through the elementary school!

He did nothing wrong. He was protecting the children and stopping someone who thought she could do what ever she wanted regardless of what harm she could have done. And after being warned twice she didn’t care. He did what was necessary to stop her.

I can only hope that when my child starts school her teachers are willing to do the same thing in the name of safety for their students.

I adore the passion this teacher has. This type is one in a million. This is the one that makes sure they're doing the right thing. This is the type to confront a bad guy. Don't lose him due to a ignorant garbage driver getting mad she was caught. If he is let go, PLEASE tell him to come to one of my local schools.

Why in the world would this Amazing and caring man get disciplinary action? The kids safety is first. Who cares she was late. Many people waiting in line probably late. He SHOULDN'T LOSE HIS JOB OR EVEN BE DISCIPLINED FOR IT. He was protecting the children from crazy drivers.
