This teacher did the right thing, he is concerned about students safety. If a child had been hit you better believe every parent would have been asking for the teachers to be fired for not doing more to protect their kids. She ignored the rules and continued to ignore them.

I would have done the same thing. I have an associated degree in Early Childhood Education and am going for my Bachelors degree. Children are 1/3 of our population and all of our future. She put their lives at risk by not following the rules.

It would be an atrocity for this teacher to be punished in any way. He was doing his job! If anything the mother that was running late should be punished.

This Educator was doing the job he was supposed to be doing! Granted, his actions were unorthodox, but, this woman was driving through condoned-off areas for public safety.

As a parent who did traffic duty for 2 years, our team would have done nothing less. You feel completely responsible for all these students on your campus and the ONLY goal is safety! Sadly since people don’t receive any consequences for their actions, they continue to “opt out” of the rules of school traffic safety. I applaud the actions of this teacher.
