We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

I support the teacher. I work in a school and often see parents whose personal feelings leave them with a sense of entitlement. These persons place student and staff safety below their own concerns. In carpool, they ignore the security officers instructions, Speed, drive while on cell phones and cut off other parents in car pool lanes or the school buses. Just because the mom was late due to her own poor planning, does not entitle her to endanger others.

Wonderful job ensuring the safety of everyone.

I want Aaron at our school, although I have not been witness to a Rita type incident, I need to know that these educators are there for my child. I stand with Aaron Morgan.

Way to go protecting children from entitled people.

This man deserves a THANK YOU! Everyone was a child once and NOBODY’s kid is more important than another...certainly not an adult who’s breaking rules and throwing tantrums.

It is disgraceful that the school apologized to her. She has no respect for other people or their children's safety. This teacher deserves respect.

Although a lil crazy.....his actions were for the good. He shouldnt be punished for stopping her from breaking the rules and protecting the children. I mean he could have stood in front of her vehicle but whos to say she doesnt try to hit him to get him to move?

I support this teacher! God bless him for doing his best to support and protect our children. Please do not punish him for taking a stand. Our children deserve teachers like this!

This lady drives through the blocked off area where the are cones, ignores teachers telling her to turn around because she doesn't want to get in line again... this teacher was trying to get her to stop from driving through where LITTLE kids walk and run! They aren't going to be expecting a car to drive through there and she could've ran over a child!!

Under most other circumstances I would agree that his reaction was overkill. However in the times that we live in with all the school attacks, I think he’s a hero for putting himself between perceived DANGER and the students. How did he know this woman was not in a psychotic state and planning to run people over? Truth is, he did now have any way of knowing that in the heat of the moment and was STILL willing to use his own body to deter the driver. She could have killed him, yet he took the chance to stop her anyway. He should be given an award and nothing less. The mother should be publicly shamed and if possible, prosecuted.
