I'm a parent of school age kids and I've seen too many close calls from parents not wanting to wait! What is it going to take? Does a child have to be killed or seriously injured before we make the parents accountable?

I wish there were more teachers like this man! Obviously willing to go above and beyond for the safety of the students. Shame on that woman and the news station for placing the blame on a hero.

This teacher should not be suspended and should instead be educated on other options. He and other pedestrians were in danger from the driver who ignored cones, signs and multiple teachers advising not to drive that way.

Having worked parent drop off at an elementary school for many years and had staff members run over by parents in their cars, I support this young man 100%. If "Rita" had struck a student because she failed to better plan her time, Mr. Morgan would have been held accountable for not stopping Rita from driving through the restricted area. The district sets all staff up for repercussions/failure if they do not support his actions. He did what he felt he had to do to stop Rita. She was told more than once not to proceed and she continued anyway, EVEN with Mr. Morgan on her hood.

Mr. Morgan is a true hero. I can only hope that some day my son has teachers as brave and admirable as him.

This teacher deserves an award for his dedication. Wish more teachers (especially in my city of Cincinnati, OH) were more like him!!

Jumping on the hood of a car is just the beginning of what I would do to protect my kids, This guy deserves a raise, not a reprimand.

Thank you, sir for doing what everyone wanted to. If parents don’t follow the rules, what examples are we setting for our children. This teacher was going to inforce the rules! He wasn’t screaming wildly, he was calm. He is the hero. News has the story wrong!!! They should interview him on how someone thought that they were better than everyone else. Teacher, job well done!!! Take a bow!!!!

This man put his life on the line for kids safety. If you let him go, I am certain another district will pick this Rock Star teacher up.

I support him 100%. Rita was completely in the wrong for driving around the cones. I’d like someone as dedicated as him to work/care for my children too.

Mr. Morgan is a hero and the kind of Educator that is desperately needed. The nerve of Rita Trimmer Ray whose actions were 1,000 % OUT OF LINE to cry victim now all because she was late?
Consider this...what if she had harmed a teacher or heaven forbid an innocent child with her illegal actions. This would be a totally different conversation.
We need more heros like Mr. Morgan. He should be LUADED for his effort to keep our children safe.

He was protecting our children and following rules... I am sorry that that lady was late... she should have thought about that earlier in the day. I am sure that wasn’t the first time she had done that.

Rita Trimmer-Ray was in the wrong and letting her act like a victim when her entitlement could have gotten someone hurt is not acceptable.
