As a mother that uses the car-rider line Kudos to the PE teacher for protecting our children. Parents should be held to a standard and responsible as well and punished when they break rules. Rita should be punished and no longer allowed to use car-rider to bring her child to school, her child can take the bus and keep our children safe.

Safety for our children at all costs. This lady doesn't think everyone is not in a rush? She's driving through cones put there for safety! Hats off to this teacher who put is own safety at risk to protect our kids. Rita thinks it's ok to break rules because she didn't get up earlier.

The woman in the SUV was in the wrong from the start. It was not Aaron's fault she was late to dropping her kid off at school. Rules at schools are set for a reason. Just because she doesn't attend this school, doesn't mean she's entitled to break the rules that were very much set, and well enforced by Aaron and his fellow teachers. Someone could of gotten hurt or killed by Rita's actions. And when Aaron was on the hood of her car, after many attempts of flagging her down, she continued driving! Thats attempted vehicular Manslaughter. Aaron's job that day, and every day, is no different than a police officers job. To Protect and Serve the People. His children. And that's exactly what he did. The school system needs more teachers like this one. Going above and beyond for his childrens safety, Risking his own life to save his school.
And let's say, God forbid, There was ever another school shooting.. This, and other teachers alike, would be hero's. He'd take a bullet for any one of those hundreds of children without a second thought. And that's what this country desperately needs right now. More hero's like Aaron.

Words fail me at the continued entitlement parents demonstrate to their own children. Children haven’t changed they are who they are, it is the parenting or lack there of, that has and it’s shocking!!!!

Kudos to this superstar teacher for going out of his way to protect elementary students from the self-entitled "Ritas" of the world. It would be a different video of her crocodile tears if she had hit/injured a kid with her shortcut attempt through the blocked off parking lot.

HE IS A TRUE HERO! THIS WOMAN PUT NOT ONLY HERSELF AND CHILD IN DANGER BUT THE ENTIRE SCHOOL.
NOTHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO HIM, IN FACT IF IT WAS ME I WOULDVE DONE THE SAME THING.
KUDDOS TO HIM FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE AND PUTTING HIS LIFE ON THE LINE TO TEY AND PROTECT ALL THE KIDS.

He chose to go above and beyond for the safety and well-being of the students he serves everyday. If action is taken, it's should be against the mother, who not only chose to endanger the lives of other people's children, but also verbally threatened the teacher with an alleged roll of importance in the community.
