He did nothing wrong, if she followed the rules this would not have happened. I would be proud to have him as my child’s teacher. Setting the example.

The parent broke the law by going around cones and ignoring the rules. Thank you to the teacher who put protecting kids above his own safety.

Rita is in the wrong and should be ashamed of herself as a parent acting that way in front of her child. Her child is going to think it’s okay to not follow rules. What is that teaching your child?!?!

He was doing his job! Protecting those children, it was blocked for safety, the rules apply to everyone’. That woman should be punished.

As an educator AND parent, I 100% agree with the content of this petition. The teacher was doing his job and enforcing school safety measures. NOTHING is more important than the safety of our students!

Apparently this is an issue that elementary school has been enduring for a while. That woman had no right to cut through an elementary school campus to save herself some time and drop off her high school student at another campus. Then elementary school has children running through the parking lot all the time, kids not paying attention, elementary parents not following the rules already. Let alone having somebody off the campus come in to make things worse. Harder for teachers to keep their eye on situations and children. Signs have been put up for elementary students only and directions have been given but people don't listen. That woman in the SUV should have stayed out of that parking lot. She had no right to be on that campus being she has no child at that campus. With all these shootings, no unauthorized person should be on that campus. She was in the wrong, not the teacher. Save the teacher!

I support the teacher. Parents need to follow the rules for the children’s safety. Everyone feels untitled these days, we need to think of others as well.

Protect this teacher and his career for his efforts to keep an unknown SUV from randomly cutting through the parking lot, risking the safety of child pedestrians, or even as far as he knew, preventing a shooter from getting in the lit!
