Coach Young is a stellar teacher. As a parent, it’s good to know that there are teachers that will stand up to others to protect and ensure the safety of our children.

#teamteacher This woman is teaching her child to take short cuts, and if caught go to administration and get them to side with you. WOW! great way to lead by example smh

The driver was wrong. What is the point of having rules of they can’t be enforced? My only concern is that the coach could have been injured.

Shame on that parent who thinks rules don’t apply to her! We support you coach!

I applaud this teacher. The Entire staff at the school is probably tired of parents just like this one that disregard the rules that apply to everyone.

I definitely support this teacher. I am a grand mother who picks up my grandkids in Fort Bend and Alvin ISD. On a daily basis we see the impatient, running late parent who totally disrespects and ignores the presence of the school officials. It is very infuriating for us to watch them skip us when we have waited so long to drop off or pick up. I vote for police enforcement and citations issued. I can imagine the feeling the teachers feel when they are so disrespected. The parents set the wrong example for their kids. Do not punish this teacher for his actions. Thank You!

He doesn’t want kids hurt by drivers. And he is a really good teacher. This is not rocket science!

That lady was clearly in the wrong and wanted to have the last say since she was embarrassed. There has been so many pedestrian accidents on Dulles Avenue!!! She should be a shame of herself!

So the parent was so entitled that she couldn't be bothered by simple directions. Stand up for your teacher!

She should have followed the proper procedure. He told her no and was protecting children. Period. She’s just entitled and feels the rules don’t apply to her.

Coach Morgan did his job. The cones are there for a reason. He was protecting the students from a parent who was breaking the rules. Get up earlier and you won’t be late.

He was looking at the best interest for the children. Better that he jumped on the car than the car on top of a child!

This teacher did the right thing and put his life in danger, I sincerely hope that FBISD administration will support this teacher and take action to protect the students.
