Punish the mom for her bad behavior, sense of entitlement, and refusing to follow the rules. Reward this teacher for protecting his students. We need more teachers like him!

Good job coach! Keep the kids safe. Mom should be ashamed she not only put kids at risk but just taught her kids that she and they are more important than anyone else.

Why on earth you would suspend a teacher for protecting students while seeing a parent do something that would have put children in harm's way, is absolutely beyond me. If anyone should be reprimanded or have corrective action taken on them it should be the parent who was in too much a hurry to follow the simple school traffic guidelines.

I don't know this teacher but with the statements I've been reading and hearing about on the news regarding dangerous drivers in the carpool line at Dulles, I think he was acting out of concern for the children.

There are so many jerks driving around Dulles. Parents dropping off their kids at traffic signal instead of dropping them in the carpool..We need teachers like him to kick some butts.

I completely agree he did the right thing. Keeping children safe is the #1 priority. Who knew what she was really doing. He could of possibly saved other children.

That parent should be reprimanded, not the teacher whose job it is to enforce the rules.

This is absurd. The teacher is owed an apology!

The teacher did what he thought best at that moment to protect the children and do his job. The parent should be the one held accountable for not following instructions and risking an injury to someone including the teacher.

The apology to that woman by the school district was completely out of line and shows the absolute lack of courage and moral fiber at FBISD Headquarters. It’s time for Dupre TO GO.
