If students were injured, we would be asking why he didn’t jump on the car.

The lady claimed the teacher was out of line is clearly one of those entitled people that always thinks it's ok to cut the carpool line. She needs to take responsibility here not the teacher and not FBISD. FFBISD, time for you to grow a pair!!

People like this entitled, rude and ignorant woman are what is wrong in this world. SHE was running late, SHE knowingly drove through a CLOSED area. SHE was told to stop and turn around by multiple people before he took dramatic measures to stop her from endangering children and flagerantly and purposely breaking rules. Why is this even a question. Ban the woman from the property permanently and give that man a raise.

The behavior of the driver is common at many FBISD schools. Let’s empower our staff to keep our kids safe!!

This teacher was NOT in the wrong - the parent was. I support those who truly care for our kids in the classrooms and keep them safe.

I hope you punish the parent, not This teacher! She was endangering children- he was trying to help them. My guess is that this wasn't her first time to do this or he wouldn't have jumped on the hood of her car. As long as her car is ok, he should have no liability and certainly no punishment!

Tired of entitled parents. Your kid is no better than mine...leave earlier. And RESPECT direction. Directing traffic shouldn't even be on their job description.

Keeping in mind the accidents that have happened during school hours in Sugarland past few months, I would say the teacher did the right thing by stopping her from driving where she was not supposed to. Getting late does not mean that we break the law, or ignore the signs and clearly mentioned instructions on boards to get our own way. What will the kid learn from this? Descipline, No the very opposite of it. I support the teacher for doing his duty.

I applaud his efforts to keep kids safe! The parent was in the wrong, and ignoring someone that is there for safety is completely wrong!! And yes she should get a ticket, and perhaps community service doing the exact same job for the school, so she can appreciate the difficulty associated with managing traffic!

Ridiculous! Coach Morgan is a role model in this school and a good person who cares for all our students. This parent was clearly late, there is no STAR testing this week, was determined to cut the drop off line in the morning. Coach shouldn’t have jumped on the car but then again, who was the one cutting in line?
