Parents need to be held accountable and that woman was showing her child that it is ok to go above authority. This teacher should not be in any trouble, the parent should.

That parent should be fined for using a cell phone on school property while driving her vehicle. Also, she is a danger to all students cutting through the parking lot. She should not have been given a platform to speak because she's a danger to society.

Although not something I would do, I totally support the teacher. Parents think they can park anywhere and drive anywhere to get their kids to school.

I commend him, all she had to do was follow directions but I guess she felt she was above that, and we wonder why so many children don't follow directions and act out at school..

The driver and her daughter both acknowledge they were in the wrong and their comments to such are on camera! Hold the driver responsible. The daughter was quoted as saying " He didn't think of the consequences of his actions" but somehow she feels there are no consequences for her mother's poor driving putting other people at risk. Shameful. Do not punish Mr Morgan for the poor choices of other people.

There are rules and procedures in place for a reason, this woman blatantly broke them and admits that she did it even after he told her no. It's ridiculous anybody would even think twice about not taking the teachers side. I'd want him protecting my children if I had them.

This teacher obviously cares deeply about the wellbeing of his student and was not willing to risk one tardy lady running through a crowd of children like a mustang at a car meet. He deserves an award and the lady deserves a fine for her willingness to put a child at risk

This teacher did the right thing. We can not be afraid of telling parents NO and to follow the rules. If you make our teachers pay for doing the right thing, then get rid of the rules and I'll pull my child from the district. I stand behind this Coach and praise him. Thank you sir for protecting our children

Shame on the fir apologizing when it was she who was in the wrong! He was doing his job And clearly she didn’t care. He needed to get her attention. It is she who should be held accountable! And people wonder why the youth these days are so disrespectful. They get it from their self absorbed, entitled parents!
