This is CLEARLY ridiculous! Good teachers are hard to find and today's parents need to know that they are not in control of their children's schools.

Don't reward this woman who is teaching a terrible lesson to her teenager. There are consequences for not being punctual. Just because SHE was running late doesn't mean she's entitled to break school safety protocols, especially in an elementary school with tiny humans. She didn't like the answer from a teacher saying no, but she ignored the authority and continued with her (restricted) shortcut. There are no such things as shortcuts in life and this mother needs to step back and realize she was in the wrong.

Parents are out of control! This man did what he felt was necessary in the moment. Id much rather see slight overreacting, than witness tragedy.

I think this fine young man deserves an award. A few weeks ago a little boy was ran over and killed right across the street from this school. If I would have been there I would have joined him. The news should make him a hero. By the way there was no STAR testing that day. She is just lazy and was late. She should be heavily fined and jailed for endangering children.

This teacher acted out of concern for the safety of his students. He doesn’t have anger issues he went into protection mode. The driver clearly had anger and patience issues. She was recorded yelling “You don’t know who you’re messing with!” Clear indication that her hostile driving was unsafe around elementary students.

He’s my hero! Sometimes it takes a drastic act to get some people’s attention!

If anything the parent should be given a consequence. As educators our duty is to protect and serve your children....he did that.

Thank you for almost sacrificing yourself for the safety of your students.

If he wouldn't have stopped her and a child was hurt, he would have lost his job! He did what he had to do!
