This teacher is my hero. The parent who thinks rules don't apply to her should be the one receiving a punishment! Had it been a kid instead of a teacher, that kid would have ended up UNDER her car instead of on top of it. I thank God there are such amazing teachers in this world willing to give their lives to protect our children. It shouldn't be that way, having to protect students from @$$ hole parents that feel like rules don't apply because she is late.

It’s not like Mr. Morgan jumped on her hood for no reason. She broke the rules and was hell bent on ignoring the people who were telling her she was wrong.

There is no way this teacher should be punished in any way shape or form. If a child was hit in that blocked-off area y'all would all be calling for him to be fired because he wasn't doing his job correctly! That parent was in the wrong, that parents should be punished, that parents should be banned from that school and make her child take the school bus from now on because she's not allowed to be near the school! I mean seriously who does she think she is? There are rules set in place for a reason she's not special!!! I say GIVE THAT TEACHER A RAISE AND TEACHER OF THE YEAR!!!

This is ridiculous that no action has been taken against the driver. Car pool lines can be chaotic, everyone must obey the rules to protect our children. Additionally, she had no business on that campus. In the wake of all the school shootings, I don't blame this teacher for trying to protect the children.

He is a hero. The media spun this and made the parent the victim! Would've been a different story had he not jumped on her car and she hit a child!

The parent was in the wrong. This teacher risked his life to make sure that children are safe from selfish parents who have no regard for other children's safety!

He's just doing his job in protecting our babies, although no one is perfect and she shouldn't have cut through like that, I'd hope this would prevent her and others from doing it again, if not at least at this school. Good job teach!

I would expect nothing less from a teacher to protect the children and to stop an arrogant, stuck up mother who thinks she has the right to go against the flow of traffic. If A police officer was standing there directing, she would have had to turn around or risk evading an officer and much more.... But a teacher is not an officer and the woman still continues post the person telling her to stop and turn around and thinks that she is better than then and can do whatever she wants because he doesn't know who he is messing with and your now going to report him for HER being in the wrong. I hate when things are twisted and can now be reported as if he did something wrong. He did NOTHING wrong since she wasn't taking the school staff seriously.

While it may seem unprofessional to some that a teacher jumped on this lady’s car; I find it far more concerning that the car’s driver had to have her car jumped on in the first place. She disregarded the cones and adults telling her no. She decided that her daughter getting to school on time was far more important than following the designated drop off route that ensures the safety of students. If an official telling her to stop did not stop her then I really doubt that any action other then that taken by this teacher would have worked. I would not be surprised if there was a news report about her hitting a student with her car in similar situation where a teacher did not jump on her car. She put herself above the safety of the students and disregarded those that told her to stop in what she feels is an appropriate manner but apparently one she feels she does not need to head. This young man put his life on the line to ensure this parent understands that she is not above the safety if his students. Personally she needs to be made an example of in a public manner so that others understand that just because you feel entitled or are running late does not hive you the right to put anyone’s safety at risk.

She’s lucky it was a teacher who chose to be on her car rather than a student who could have been hit in her carelessness. He was protecting the children of the school. If we are encouraging teachers to protect children in the classroom why is this frowned upon? She knew she was doing something wrong and still continued to do it. She should be ticketed for not following the rules. Just because he daughter is late doesn’t mean she gets to make her own rules. They’re there for a reason and I believe what he did was in the right to stop her. If she was late she was probably driving over the speed that would be safe for an area like this and he did his best to protect children as his job states.

The woman stated that she knew she wasn’t supposed to go that way was told several times not to go that way and continue to go that way. When are people going to be held for their own actions? That man was doing his job and that woman was breaking the rules and now media is trying to twist it so that Rita is the victim. I would want this young man protecting my kids at school!
