The parent feels entitled to break the rules and endanger children. This teacher deserves an award.

This news station needs to get shut down! Promoting unsafe practices in a school parking lot is unacceptable!

I support this teacher, just because you are running late does not give you the right to put others at risk. You admit to goes around traffic cones. I mean...who does that!

He did the right thing. When you can’t follow rules as a parent and can possibly harm children, you don’t get the white glove treatment! There are some places where if you don’t follow the rules, you end up in handcuffs!

Congratulations FBISD on hiring a teacher like him who puts the safety of the children above his own well being. Now do the right thing and give him a raise

It’s the parent’s fault that she ignored ALL safety procedures, rules, and expectations and put students’ and teachers’ lives at risk because it inconvienced her to have to wait in line. In her news interview she even acknowledged the amount of times she ignored passive forms of traffic signals. His method of getting her attention was not only the only way she was going to pay attention, but possibly saved lives by preventing this type of entitled, arrogant, selfish behavior from continuing. You can hear her disregard for school rules when she said “you don’t know who you’re messing with.” Proving with her words that she does not care for anyone but herself. It’s time for the school system to say, “No, ma’am, you don’t know who YOU are messing with.” She should have the privilege of dropping her daughter off at school revoked for not following safety procedures. This man is a hero for standing up for safety and general respect for your fellow man.

He doesn't deserve to be punished. He deserves to be honored for going above and beyond. Rita however needs to be punished, ticketed or something.

Rita needs to be held accountable- she’s on video tape admitting she was creating a dangerous situation for children. Plus, if she isn’t a parent at the school, isn’t she trespassing if she doesn’t have business there? Thank you, Sir, for keeping. your students safe!!
