He should not be disciplined. If she wasn't breaking the rules this would not have happened.

This clearly would not have happened if she would have been following directions!!! It is very frustrating when his only goal was to protect the safety of the children!

As a Soldier who followed my General Orders, this teacher did the same to protect his post. We should celebrate his courage in that moment because Lord forbid that parent would have hit somebody's child. I have his back and I pray that you do too

The parent coupd have hurt the children. He was protecting those children. Rita was wrong and her attitude is an ongoing issue in America. We can expect different expectations for different people.

This teacher is a hero. Rita is NOT the victim. She acted inappropriately and knew she want allowed to do whay she did, and when caught, tried to make it about the person who caught her. Do NOT apologize to her for her willfully ignoring the rules and putting lives in danger. Do NOT discipline the teacher for not allowing her to get away with it, and for putting the safety of others first. She willfully ignored other means, people, traffic cones, he did what had to be done. Thank goodness someone did!

Mr. Morgan was clearly demonstrating his level of dedication to protecting the young students in his care, particularly in light of the fact that a student was struck in the carpool lane the week before. Ms. Trimmer-Ray was wrong and ignored two other staff members before Mr. Morgan took his unorthodox but clearly necessary action. He deserves praise, not discipline.

He clearly wasn’t violent. And why didn’t she stop?
