As a mother to a kindergartner, I am thankful for this teacher who was stopping a car to a person who thinks they are entitled to their own rules. Parts are blocked off in the morning for children who walk to school, exit vehicles, etc I would be so thankful to have a teacher protect my child the same way!

This teacher was only trying to save the lives of elementary school age children. The driver of the car was wrong, and knew she was doing something wrong, and did it anyway. Do not punish the teacher for trying to protect the children.

Mr. Morgan is a hero and should not face any disciplinary measures. As a teacher, I have been nearly run over by parents more times than I can count coming through our school parking lot (with my own children, and in a crosswalk!). Mr. Morgan’s actions are a testament to his dedication to student safety.

Please use video footage and charge the woman with endangering welfare of children. A precedent needs to be set.

Thank you, Mr. Morgan, for doing your job above and beyond. Your school district should not have apologized to the parent, and the reporters who gave this woman air time need to focus on the real story of teacher dedication.
