I cannot imagine this teacher would receive anything other than an OSHA regulation vest. This lady, on the other hand, should receive a trespass notice and police should be watching her in school zones.

As a father of two elementary age girls I applaud this teacher for standing up for the safety of HIS children. I have personally seen our principal do the same thing (except she did not jump on the hood) and she made sure to talk to those parents long enough that any time they thought they were saving was lost threefold. Good job sir!!!

Teacher possibly saved a life preventing a reckless driver from proceeding through that parking lot and ignoring the rules and cones. Give him a raise

This parent is disgusting. She is an entitled parent who doesn’t think the rules apply to her. Shame on Fox News for making her look like the victim. The police should have thanked her daughter for recording this and handed Rita a ticket for disobeying traffic rules.

Rules are for everybody to follow and more around a school setting ... nobody has the right to brake rules just because it’s late.

I am a teacher who has been on carpool duty for a few years and you are a hero for protecting your babies with such dedication. I know what it's like to have a car try to drive through a place that endangers your children and I step in front of the car every time because it's not a decision, those are your kids behind you. Your district is lucky to have you, you are a hero, you have my support.

As both a parent and an elementary school teacher, I applaud the actions of this man. What he was teaching that day was that EVERYONE must follow the rules, and there are consequences when someone does not. I hope that all teachers would take the safety of their students this seriously.

I would do anything to protect kids. This coach is a hero and exactly who we want in our schools! Shame on the district. That parent should be ticketed and fined.
