My guess, is for his action to be this extreme, she has been a problem for a while. She ignored barricades and 2 other people telling her to stop.
This man is a hero that potentially saved children from injury or worse. He should be rewarded

As a lifelong educator, I support this man for his heroism. He deserves a hood ornament trophy and a raise. This is the same man who would take a bullet for your child if necessary.

I teach, and I have done traffic duty. Being on the front line as cars pull around to pick up their children is a dangerous job. I have had my foot run over; I have jumped out of the way like an action film actress, and I have had parents curse at me for not opening the door for their child (of whom I am sure they do not open the door for every time they go to the grocery store). I have stood in the rain, I have run around the school trying to locate a child who got on a bus instead of waited for their parents in the pickup line.
A colleague of mine was actually hit by a parent and when in the principal’s office complaining about the teacher not allowing her kid to get in the car at the wrong spot, our Assistant Principal said, “Ma’am, you’ve hit our teacher with your car.” To which the parent still complaining about the teacher said, “I only bumped her!” On the occasions where my foot was run over and my colleague was “bumped, we were on the sidewalk —not in the car lane.
I teach at a K8 school. I have watched young students try to run into the street to get to their parents’ cars before the car got to them. Parents would then yell at me because it didn’t make any sense why their could kid just couldn’t get in the car.
I’ve watched teenagers grab kindergartners out of the way because the teachers on duty couldn’t catch them fast enough. You see, in Carline, we have multiple students waiting by each teacher and if we run off to catch one, then not keeping the other students safe. I have only seen teachers run after the child in immediate danger, however, the fact our older students feel responsible for completing an adult task because they recognize the danger of the situation is not ok! There are so many cars converging at one place in such a short period of time. We have a staff of 91 adults to monitor the dismissal of over 1000 students. People don’t carpool often, that means we are looking at approximately 600 cars picking up stude

Please do not fire him because of him doing the right thing. We can't let people think they can do what they want and endanger our children.

Please don’t punish this teacher! He is the type of teacher every parent would watch teaching their child! Let’s think about this in a different situation... if Rita had different type of weapon other than a car and was pointing it at a classroom full of kids, Mr Morgan is the type of Teacher that would save lives and try to stop Rita! Rita used her car as a weapon, Mr Morgan tried to stop her! The school needs to stand behind this teacher and support him! She broke many rules and he upheld them! He is a Hero and a dedicated educator! Do you really want to send the message to your teachers “I can’t protect students with whatever means necessary because I may not have a job”
Support Mr Morgan he deserves it!!!

Rita needs to be banned from the premises if she can’t follow the rules. I support this teacher 100%.

The crazy woman endangered the kids, and what he did was brave. He was not angry or malicious- he just protected the kids.

What is more important. A child being late for school or the safety of our children. Arron did the right thing.

I am so angry that anyone would even think it is okay to break the rules and put children's lives at risk. Rita needs to get up earlier and teach her children how to be responsible for respecting rules. She should not teach them that just because she couldn't get her act together to get them to school, that it was okay to break rules and risk lives!

This teacher was not wrong. This teacher was protecting his students. This woman and her entitled “rules don’t apply to me attitude” is what is wrong. Support your teacher, not a woman who can’t accept consequences for her own actions.
