He did the right thing lady was dead wrong .reward him is what they need to do.

I'm a teacher in Oklahoma. It's all about the student's safety.

I support this teacher

With all the recent attacks in schools as educators we have a stronger commitment to protect students even when we have to risk our lives. Please let this teacher keep his job he was just protecting students.

The teacher is protecting the children. The woman should have been cited by the police and the teacher should have a parade.

I completely support the teacher. The parent admits to rushing, cutting through traffic, breaking laws, and ignoring one teacher that already tried to stop her. In the video, the teacher does not exhibit anger mgmt. issues at all. In fact, he is quite calm and clearly trying to protect the kids.

This teacher is a hero. Rita should be disciplined. I’m disgusted with her entitled behavior.

I'm sorry but Ms.Rita was wrong on so many levels.He did his job and in that moment he did wjat he thought was neccesary for the saftey of the children.

Shame on this woman for going around the cones just because she was late. I can’t believe anyone is even questioning this fantastic teacher. Obviously it was the only way to atop this selfish, rule breaking, entitled woman. Give this teacher a raise and kudo’s for trying to keep the kids safe!

As a mom who drives in car line, as well as an educator, I applaud this teacher. I wish he worked in my kids school.

This brave young man was doing what any parent of an elementary studen would want him to do. To protect their children. Threats to students safety has clearly been a hot topic of conversation lately, and this situation is no different. Students lives were in danger and he bravely put his own life at risk to protect those little ones. Well done sir. I applaud you and I would be proud to have you as a teacher within my own children’s school.

I’m in Dallas - where a child was hit in the car line for this very reason. Give this teacher a raise!

I want to follow this story. Our teachers are on the line to protect our students, then someone who thinks she is beyond reproach....:you don't know who I am" REALLY. Hopr this teacher is there if someone decides to come in the scholl with a gun. They need to take legal action against this woman. That kind of attitude is what is wrong. Someone needs to bring charges against her.
