We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

I support this brave man for protecting the kids in his district the parent should have waited or left early to avoid being late or put her teenager out to walk

The teacher should be commended and the driver should be barred on school property and ticketed if possible

This teacher should be commended for trying to keep the students safe from a woman completely disregarding the safety measures put into place by the elementary school. He was the one who was designated to have authority in this drop off school zone. He was completely ignored! I would only hope a teacher would have this much determination to protect my grandchildren at the schools they attend. He was NOT a villain like this story portrayed. This woman should be ticketed for endangerment to the elementary students. She violated traffic laws! What makes this news station report on someone expressing her opinion of self entitlement, thinking she was above the law driving around cones, ignoring being flagged down by (not one but two) teachers who were responsible to ensure the safety of the students? She needs to apologize to this teacher and so does the news station! This could have been a completely different story had she injured a student by her careless actions! It appears that this mom put the elementary children’s safety at risk and didn’t stop when told to twice.... putting the teacher’s life at risk when he tried to stop her by continuing to drive and telling him, “You don’t know who you’re messing with.”

I am a teacher and a parent. I would have done the same thing as Mr. Dulles.

Our first priority is safety of the children. Good job!

Ridiculous that this is even necessary. This woman drove around cones there for children and other drivers SAFETY and she thinks her actions were in any way acceptable?? No.

He was protecting the children. She can not just do what ever she pleases. There are rules for a reason. He should be commended!! I applaud him!!

Rita should be arrested for ignoring the traffic pattern and crashing a safety risk. The teacher should receive about award. The news reporter should be written up for a terrible story.
