That teacher was keeping others from this women who could not follow the rules. Why should he be in the wrong from protecting and ensuring the safety of students at his school? This lady needs to follow the rules. If I was late, driving over the speed limit would still get me in trouble by the police. Follow the rules and she definitely owes that teacher an apology!

Looking out for the safety of the children was his top priority. If something would have happened to a child because he let this lady just drive on through he would not be able to live with himself.

Bravo! You did what any teacher would to keep children safe. This teacher needs to be applauded! This parent is the reason that teachers are leaving the profession by the thousands, when they are wrong they blame it on the teacher and the teacher ultimately takes the fall. It’s the sad state of our nation.

Absolutely ridiculous for this teacher to receive any punishment for keeping children safe from parents disobeying safety rules. The mother should be fined and ashamed of herself and the example she is showing her children that rules do not apply to her.

I am in full support of this teacher and what he did. Here is a parent who admittedly went by two others telling her she was not allowed to drive that way and around cones that were set up to block her. This teacher should be celebrated! Enough coddling of parents who can't follow rules.

I am an educator in Arkansas. The parent is the one who needs discipline. Support those teachers who are in the trenches every day! They deal with enough garbage as it is!
