We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Absolutely he was in the right! The mother had blatant disregard for the rules and safety of the children. Instead of disciplinary action against the teacher he should be thanked for being willing to put himself in harms way to protect the students and this mother should be banned from that schools grounds if she doesn't have a student that attends.

The mother should be banned from school property. The teacher should be commended!

We need more teachers like Mr. Young. We entrust our precious children with their teachers. He is worthy of that trust.

The Woman ADMITTED that she was running late, ADMITTED that 2 other adults tried to stop/flag her down, from cutting through --- out of HER OWN MOUTH!!!

Too many times parents feel the rules don't apply to them. I'm on education employee, I might have done the same. We're all just watching out for our children.

I wish Mr. Morgan worked at our local elementary school. I have had it with entitled parents who refuse to respect the drop off/ pick up line. Your time is nor more valuable than my child's life!

Rita is the reason we have these teachers out there.

I totally support what this young man did to ensure the safety of the students. Which is way more important than Rita trying to make up time because she was late.

He was doing his job. She was in the wrong. How dare her! Thinking she is entitled to break state law and rules of the school!

I support the actions if this teacher. What is ridiculous is that the parents was not ticketed for not following traffic cones/directions of school staff.

I agree with what was done. That parent is not excused from the rules. And there is no rule that says teacher cannot jump on a car but there is one that says don’t go around cones.

This teacher is a hero. He put his life on jeopardy to protect the children at his school.

I think besides having the audacity to use an elementary school for a “short cut” and making her own personal road to the high school it’s appalling to me that she KEPT DRIVING with the coach on her car. No regard for the children, no regard for the person trying to protect the children. Unbelievable that SHE thinks she’s a victim here!! She should be fined... heavily!!

I work at a school. It is the teacher’s responsibility to PROTECT THE CHILDREN. Who in the hell does she think she is driving thru cones because she is LATE!?! Endangering the lives of other kids...if someone else did this, she would be the 1st to call that person out!!! Good job teacher....he needs a RAISE!!!

Please don’t punish the teacher for enforcing school safety and trying to keep order. That parent was out of line. What is she teaching her child by cutting corners to get things done when she was running late. T

This is insane that people think he is in the wrong, he is amazing and this woman should be ashamed of herself.

How can we expect children to form a single file line in Kindergarten when their parents can’t even do it correctly. People need to learn some manners.
