We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

This is the kind of person we should all want to be caring for and teaching our young children. Give that man a raise!

Kids get hit. Following procedures is important.

This teacher not only tried to demonstrate order he also attempted to protect these small children... He should not be reprimanded in anyway...

As the mother of a kindergartener, I appreciate this teacher who put his safety at risk to protect students. This women was disrespectful to the system set up to protect others children because she was running late.

Guess they figure it would have been better for the irresponsible parent to possibly run a student over than for Coach Young to make sure everyone followed the traffic rules.

Love to have him working at my sons school!!

Her behavior is a prime example of the lack of respect teachers receive. Another teacher, cones, even he could not make her follow the rules for the safety of others. Well, he stopped her. Her sense of entitlement is seen by children, they will act in the same way. Not only should he not be disciplined, he should be commended for putting the school before his own safety. These are the teachers who will protect our children at all cost!

At first, I thought this was a joke. Obviously, this lady thinks it's okay to put the lives of little children in danger. What kind of message is she sending to her children? It is her fault her child was running late, and she is lucky he jumped on her car, instead of the police arresting her for involuntary manslaughter. The parents of the school should rally behind the teacher, because he went above and beyond for their children's safety. He should take her to court for defamation of character.

Keep on protecting your students!

Please don't fire him. He was protecting those children. She was wrong for not following directions.

We have the same issues with self entitled parents teaching their kids that's it's okay to disobey the rules in our own school district. This mother should be disciplined and the teacher commended for protecting the students. What if the mother wanted to do harm??? These teachers are our first line of defence in protecting our kids!!

Coach Young was completely in the right here. The parent cutting through Dulles admits that he was the second teacher to try to redirect her. She is completely in the wrong and should be disciplined, not the teacher trying to educate her on drop off safety. What are we teaching her AND her child if the teacher is found at fault? That they are the exception to the rule and that rules implemented for safety reasons are only to be followed when convenient. Don’t do that. That doesn’t help anyone.
