Mr. Young was not in the wrong. Parents who endanger teachers and other people's children are the ones who should be punished. Please ban "Ms. Rita" from bringing her reprehensible and entitled behavior on school property in the future.

This man put the safety of children first....protecting them and others from a woman who had zero regard for rules and the safety of others.

Thank goodness for teachers like him and Fox News had no business making this silly entitled woman into a victim. She knew what she was doing was wrong and the way she knew where to go means she’s done this before. I bet her boss is also tired of her always running late and her excuses. Fox News you need to apologize to this wonderful teacher that you so willingly slandered.

Kudos to Mr. Young. What world are we living in where a parent clearly breaks the rules and instead of feeling any shame at being called out, she has the gall to make the teacher the bad guy! Shame on her!

What if your child got hit by the woman’s actions & he hadn’t stopped her? He’d still be in the same position he is now. He deserves an award for protecting the children.

You gave him the job of protecting and educating children. That mother was only thinking of herself. Do like the state trooper told me— if you are late, leave earlier. That woman needed a ticket.

It is selfish and dangerous to ignore a teacher’s instructions in the drop off line. This woman should be apologizing to coach and the district should be commending him for putting himself in danger to protect children.

Good for him. Protecting the children at all costs. She was in a hurry and could have seriously hurt an innocent child. Happens EVERY DAY across the country. Perhaps he prevented a tragedy. He is a hero.

Go teacher! Stand your ground! Tired of parents thinking they can get away with breaking rules. It’s a huge disservice to kids allowing them to think they can do what they want.
