You absolutely did the right thing...signed another teacher!!

This teacher did the right thing. Student lives need to be protected from traffic.

Parents are not except from rules! I support you!

This man is a rockstar and should be given an award for protecting students. The parent should have been arrested.

This woman put the children of your school in danger. She willfully ignored cones blocking the lane, drove around them, ignored staff warning her of danger - yet kept going. We need our children to our schools expecting they be kept safe. This man was doing what needed to be done in order to keep the children safe. I do hope you have no plans to discipline him. He is absolutely right. What would have happened if a child had been hurt? All because this woman wanted a short cut! Ridiculous! Praise this man for going above and beyond. It was obvious she was going to continue, not listen, and not wait until it was safe. He did what needed to be done to stop her. We need teachers who care that much!

The school needs to file charges against Rita!! She was driving around cones and putting kids lives in danger because she was late. Last time I checked the law doesn’t make exceptions for you if you’re late.

I support the teacher. The parent was in the wrong.

The DRIVER was wrong! The teacher was right and protecting the kids!

The parent was absolutely wrong in neglecting driving restrictions. This teacher is obviously very passionate about his students and wanted to protect them. The driver should be punished not this teacher.

Hang in there! I'm a PE teacher in TN and also do car rider line. As a teacher in the car rider line I have witnessed near accidents and have stepped in front of cars to get their attention. You did the right thing Coach Young!

As an elementary school teacher myself, I applaud Coach Young’s actions, which may have been “out of the box,” but definitely effective! Parents need to understand that the rules are in place for a reason: safety! Do not discipline this teacher! He should be commended!

Authorities should not allow Rita Trimmer-Ray to operate a vehicle on school property.

As a 26 year veteran teacher I feel his extreme reaction to this unruly mom was just! How can a news director try to make a martyr out of this mom?
