We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

We want teachers to protect our children from active shooters INSIDE the school buildings. Vehicles are lethal weapons and this man is a hero!

The mom was absolutely wrong. The teacher was trying to enforce the rules and protect children safety.

Thank you for being a hero!

Rita should be arrested. The news anchors should be ashamed. This man should be given a raise and an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii.

This man was doing his job. Good for him. She was brraking rules and going where she shouldnt be after being told no. And going around cones meant to stop her. She is not a victim, she has no right to be upset. She should be ashamed teaching her kids to act this way. She is the problem.

This teacher is a hero and was doing his job. I support him, and will be highly disappointed in the district if he is the one who is punished.

Proud of this teacher, he's doing his job and protecting students. As for the late parent that thinks rules don't apply to her, in Texas you get a ticket for cutting through parking lots instead of following the roadways....because it is dangerous. And also, he doesn't have any anger management issues...he's calm even under pressure.

Thank God for this man protecting our children!

This man is a hero. He was willing to risk his own life to protect the children from a self entitled rule breaking parent. Punishing him would show children that it is ok to break the rules and wrong to stand up to the rule breakers. Preposterous.

This is an amazing teacher that any ISD would want on their side!

Coach deserves a raise, not discipline

This woman was wrong. Reading about the student killed while riding his bike in that area tells me that this teacher was trying to protect the students at this school. She should not get what she wants, him fired, just because she feels she is above the rules. That is a terrible lesson for her daughter that was in the car with her.

Please look at school safety before firing this teacher. Consider blocking off the cut through to the high school.

Outstanding teacher who was only worried about the safety of the children

Rita was wrong to cut the parking lot. As a teacher who has done more than her share of duty, parents need to follow the rules, for safety and to be good role models for their children. It’s not do what I say do what I do. Children follow their parent’s example. Set a good one.

Keeping children safe from reckless drivers who don't think rules apply to them should not result in disciplinary action.

This teacher was doing his job. Parents think that rules don't apply to them. My question is where was the school police?? If a police officer stopped her, what were it be her reaction??

This young man went over and above to protect his students. Shame on the school district for bowing down to the aggressive driver who is the one who’s truly out of line.

What is this School thanking Suspending this teacher for doing his job. This makes me so mad, that woman needed to be ticketed...

So sad that as a teacher protecting the students he would have to face any disciplinary for trying to protect students. If she got away with it how many other parents would try it and likely harm a student. What then?!? We all know who was in the absolute wrong!!! Not Mr. Young!!!
