Discipline the parent who selfishly think s rules don't apply to her.

It is a sad time when parents can willingly and without remorse break the rules for their convenience. This man went above and beyond to protect his students and should not be penalized.

As an educator, although the measure were drastic, sometimes that it what it takes to keep the kids safe. Had he not went to such extreme measures and someone was hurt, imagine the outrage then. I'm appalled that this made headline news with the twist against the teacher. The parent clearly stated that she was flagged multiple times and went around cones to get to this area of PROTECTION. She was in the wrong, not the teacher!!!

This man is a hero. You can never understand car rider line unless you’ve worked it. Sheer terror caused by parents who don’t listen.

I support Coach Young for stopping this “entitled woman” from entering the elementary school drop zone - because she was late getting her high school student to school!

I went to Dulles HS as a kid and all 3 of my children were educated in the Fort Bend Independent School District. I live in Fort Bend County. No action should be taken against Mr. Morgan. This is the man I would want to teach and protect my child.

Thank you for putting yourself in harms way and being willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of elementary children. Everyday I drop my third grader off at school, I have that lingering worry in the back of my head about will he be safe? And then I see videos like this and am reminded that there are teachers like you who would risk their own safety to prevent and potential threat against him.

Good for him. I’m willing to bet this isn’t the first time she’s cut through. What if she had run into a child? Then she’d still want to blame the teacher for not doing everything he could have to stop her. I love that he’s willing to “go the distance”.

This man deserves an award and that patent deserves to be ticketed for what she did and for telling her daughter to use her cell phone in a school zone. The journalist got it wrong— she should have been doing a hero story on this teacher. Because of him, children remained safe!

This individual put the childrens' safety before his own to protect and serve them. I'm sure no other teacher has expressed that level of commitment to our youth.

This teacher went above and beyond for the safety of our children and he should be praised for risking his life. Who knows what the intentions of another impatient driver might be. In today's climate this is what we need!
