We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Please don’t punish this teacher.

Mr. Morgan, I want to commend you for your actions in protecting those children against entitled drivers who don't think safety rules apply to them. The news station tried to make you the villain but everyone can see through the horrible journalism! My wife works the car line every morning at her school and I hear Rita stories all the time! Thank you for going beyond your job duties and heroically protecting kids from the Ritas of the world! You sir are a HERO and we parents APPRECIATE you!

Protecting our children with his life!

Too many parents put their time and their child above the safety of all the children! In addition, you are teaching your child that rules don't apply to you when it's not convenient!

This teacher should be appreciated and applauded instead of punished. The mother should be the one facing consequences.

She is not a victim here. She was showing blatant disregard for the rules and safety of the children, because she was running late. He was defending the safety of the children. She should have some kind of consequence reflecting her disregard for safety and disrespect.

While what he did may be unorthodox , he did it to protect the elementary school students. Elementary school - little children. I applaud him and think that mother should be fined for child endangerment, a large fine.

This teacher is a hero and is protecting students. He was making sure safety was the top priority and should not be disciplined. A parent didn't want to follow rules because she was late and didn't care about safety of others.

This woman felt she was above the protocol of the school, put in place to protect the children of the school. Sorry if her car has a few spots on it, but she's the one who should be taken to court. If you are going to break the rules and think you are above it all, be willing to see things you may not expect. This kind of teacher I'm sure would also be a hero saving a child when an armed student enters a building, he'll do what it takes to keep the children safe.
