Do not discipline this teacher for doing his job! If he had not stopped her and she hit a child because she was being impatient you would have blamed him and his fellow teachers. He should be praised for keeping those young children safe.

It's a shame when entitled parents are playing the victim when this teacher possibly kept her from hurting or killing a child. She should be thanking him, & so should every parent & admin in that school!

I do not think Coach Young should be fired. I know he is a great young man and was just driven out of concern. He was my son’s coach at Burton Elementary. I always knew him as such a nice young man. The person drinking is in the wrong. I drop my children off at school and sometimes I am running late and get impatient but I don’t cut through the line. We all have to wait. Coach Young does not deserve to be fired.

After many attempts of the mother being directed to stop with her hazardous, dangerous behavior, which put the children’s safety and lives at risk, and the mother admitting her choices to make these hazardous decisions, I am in support of Coach Young’s actions, as they were to make the envrionment of the children

Having performed crossing gyard duty for 2 years, I have been tempted to throw my netal sugn in order to stop irresponsible drivers!!

This man was doing his best to protect the kids. He made sure that this selfish woman didn’t cut through a parking lot and kill somebody with her wreckless driving. It is a shame that there is any sort of question as to if he was in the right or wrong - if he hadn’t done this, don’t you think Rita and her other self absorbed friends would cut through that lot regularly from then on? Shame on anybody who tries to discipline this hero. Treat our teachers better.
