I am a teacher and I stand behind him for what he did. The parent was in the wrong if he hadn't done that she could have hit a student who was also in a rush and not looking in the direct of cars that are going the wrong way.

Students safety first, regardless of if he or she is late. This mother has no regard for others' safety. The teacher should not be penalized for protecting the children.

If Coach Young didn't stop her, this would be a daily occurrence and wouldn't stop with Rita. Kudos to Coach Young.

punish parents for violating school safety rules; don't punish teachers for enforcing them.

If ANY adverse effects happen to this man for protecting HIS school babies, you better believe there will be a protest planned in full view of your school.

The driver was wrong. She thinks she is entitled to break the rules for her child because they are running late, without considering the safety implications for the elementary aged kids the cones were placed there to protect. Obviously, even after having time to reflect on her decision, she is still taking no responsibility for breaking those safety rules.

Mr. Morgan, thank you for your actions. This parent is the perfect example of entitlement that plagues our country. Rules are there for a reason, regardless of her poor planning.

Super HERO

I believe he is a hero for his actions. I also believe the mother should face assault charges for continuing to drive while he was on her hood.

This man did a fine job assuring the safety of those children while the lady thought she had the right to not wait in line with the rest of the parents and children, both ahead and behind her, in the same situation.

He was just protecting the kids. Teach this entitled woman that she is not above the rules or safety of other children because "she was late."
