So sick of those in the wrong playing the victim. It’s time someone stood up for teachers trying to do their jobs. This teacher should not be punished.

He was definitely acting out of concern and ensuring that ALL parents, no matter the circumstance, follow safety rules for children. Yes, his actions were a bit unorthodox, BUT, he is showcasing that he genuinely care about protecting the students at all cost. I thought that's what teachers were suppose to do because as soon as that parent hit another student with her car, it would have raised question of "Where we're the teachers? Why weren't they patrolling? Who allowed this parent to drive unsafely through the school zone?" When teachers are being proactive rather reactive they still get punished. Ironic, huh? Anyway, I will get off my soapbox now, and just say, "I would love to have him as a teacher for my children."

This teacher is a hero. That woman, Rita, is disgraceful and showed no concern whatsoever for the safety of those elementary students. If I were a parent at this school, I would thank my lucky stars that coach young was on the scene to keep my babies safe.

These parents need to follow the rules. Her child is not the only one who attends the school and her erratic driving posed a danger to others. This teacher should not be reprimanded, the parent needs to use wisdom and follow the rules!

He did the right thing and actually risked his life for the safety of other children while this parent selfishly ignored safety rules of everyone around her. He deserves accolades
