He did the right thing. She was in the wrong, I would love to have more people like him at all schools.

We need more people like Coach Young with our kids, he is a hero and someone to look up to old and young.

Rita was plain wrong in her actions and while physically stopping the car is not ideal, she made it clear in her interview she had no intention to consider student safety over not wanting to be late. Shame on Rita.

Thank you Aaron for protecting the children. This mother should be ashamed of herself. The district should be ashamed of themselves if they punish Aaron. This is exactly the type of person I want teaching & protecting our children.

Give this excellent teacher a RAISE. Give the woman who endangered the lives of children at Dulles Elementary a citation and make her work the drop off line for a year.

Shame on FBISD for apologizing to Rita Line Cutter. Shame on the media for giving her the time of day. The teachable moment was when Rita should have demonstrated to her daughter that rules are to be followed. Instructions from those in authority are to be obeyed and you must accept responsibility for your actions. Rules shouldn't be changes because Rita was late. Everyone behind her probably also has somewhere to be. Rita was WRONG. She should be apologizing.

This teacher put his life in jeaporday to keep students safe. He deserves recognition NOT discipline.

This man did what was right. The one that should be help accountable was the driver. School parking lots are not a shortcut.

Don’t placate a parent that clearly doesn’t obey district policy and punish a teacher who was trying to stop her

This was the act of an American who did above and beyond what his job description calls for. God bless him and Houston should be proud of his dedication to their children. I use student drop off lanes at 2 different school daily, 4 X every day I see the lunacy in my short time in line. This opened my eyes to the difficulties these professional deal with daily. I’m confident that no one who chose an educational career expected to babysit adults who feel above the rules would be a part of their career once let alone daily. It would be a travesty to discipline this teacher. If you ignore the petition I hope that ever school district in North America tenders a job offer to him.
