I have run late many times to take my kids to school or even pick them up. Sometimes people are just late and that’s all it has to be. Thank you for protecting the children and your fellow teachers.

I Applaud this man! He was doing a part of his job which is to keep these children safe. He stop an accident from Happening, gosh forbid.

While I don't condone the unsafe actions of jumping on a moving vehicle. As a school resource officer at a high school I do support protecting our children and keeping them safe. Thank you Mr. Young for putting your body on the line for our children.

This is the kind of teacher a school needs. This woman could have killed a child because she was late and that is what this teacher has made paramount is that kids will make it into that school safely.

That mother was wrong and is what is inherently wrong with our world today!!! Do what you want now and ask for forgiveness later. Everyone in that line had somewhere to be.... Anything she had to say to justify her actions is pathetic!!!

This teacher should be lauded for his efforts at keeping students safe. If you’re going to punish someone, punish the self-entitled, rule-breaking, child-endangering mother.

Thank you for your selfless act of heroism, that not all would be willing to perform- that YOU did without hesitation or thought of your own safety- just the safety of the innocent children you inspire and teach! And they are correct, this can be a lesson to be learned...That there are people willing to forgo their own safety to protect those that need protection! And there are even more people to stand up behind them!! Lots of love from a mother of those innocents!!
