Once my son threw a ball that knocked over a vase. The vase did not break. I told him, "If that vase had broken, you would be in so much trouble!" My mother pointed out that his action was the same whether the vase broke or not, therefore his punishment should be the same regardless of the outcome. Just because this woman did not kill a carload of children that were following the rules, her actions were the actions that could have. This man reacted to the potential, not the outcome. Thank you for using everything you had to stop this woman.

This teacher is awesome and did NOTHING wrong. He was protecting those kids and standing firm for rules, which some people clearly believe don't apply to them. Keep fighting the good fight, sir!!

He did what he had to do to stop this woman. If it would have been someone else going through and her child at risk of getting hit she would have been signing this petition. Let us back our teachers for a change.

I myself work at a school where student was it while riding his bike on campus because a parent was negligent. Luckily the student is fine but the entire situation could've been avoided if the parent adhered to drive line rules and regulations. While unorthodox, Mr. Morgan did the first thing that came to mind.If I were in his shoes, I can't say I would've reacted differently. He potentially stopped a horrific situation from occurring. No adverse action should be taken against him for ensuring driveline rules aren't broken.

This Mom was in the wrong and endangering children. And she threatened him. She needs arrested.

The question to address in considering disciplinary action is what should be valued more...a teacher defending the safety of the student or the complaining driver's right to break the rules and risk student safety? It is obvious this teacher was doing what was in the best interest of student safety and this parent was more concerned with her own interest because evidently she is more important than everyone else trying to get to school and / or work safely. Shame on Fox 26 for villianizing this teacher and allowing the parent to completely refuse to take responsibility for her own actions. The best outcome for this situation is not to take disciplinary action against the teacher, but rather to EDUCATE based on the experience...set up a better protocol regarding rouge drivers risking the safety of the students and provide staff with training for these unfortunate situations.

He first waved at her telling her to stop. She didn’t listen, there for he jumped onto the car telling her to stop. She was breaking the law and he was protecting students and doing his job.

He should not face any discipline over this. It gets overwhelming when parents over and over do not adhere to the rules.
