Coach was doing his job and proctecting the kids. He doesn’t deserve a punishment.

He takes the safety and security of his students seriously. People are up in arms about school security these days...well here he is keeping the campus safe!

Just imagine if he had not acted in the way her did and the actions of the woman had caused a child or adult had been hurt?

I have almost been hit by parents doing this- going around the cones. I’d rather be hit than a child. Stand by your teacher! He was correct in stopping her. If he did not, you probably would have blamed him for not doing a good job directing traffic . Who can win? This is just sad and hateful.

As an educator myself, I know HAVE to think of safety for our kiddos first. This mother was only thinking about convenience and if she was allowed to do this how many more parents would have followed?

The mother was in the wrong no matter how you look at it.

This is ridiculous that we’re even having to do this. It’s so sad that this day and age of “everyone is offended” that even though that mom was CLEARLY in the wrong, the teachers reprimand is in question. Grow a pair and tell that mom to follow the rules. She shouldn’t even have a say right now because SHE WAS WRONG.

He went above and beyond his duty as a teacher, he risked his own safety to ensure the safety of those kids. We need more teachers like him.

Aaron deserves our appreciation. I as a young girl saw a child run around a bus and get killed. Children are unpredictable & parents in a hurry should obey the school drop off rules or get ticketed.

I support the PE teacher & his non-violent, although a bit unorthodox, actions to provide safety for his students. The mother sounds a bit entitled, if not spoiled. I hope she is embarrassed by making a bigger deal out of his unique solution to a blatently rule breaking parent. She is trying to smear his name & ruin his promising career, worried that he is around children all day with such behavior. She has neglected to identify her own, more negative character flaws, such as making the conscientious decision to break a driving/safety rule in front of her child, REPEATEDLY. And then model excuse making, and finally bullying the teacher when he got the better of her in the situation. I'm shocked & annoyed this is even news, much less a threat to a dedicated teacher's future. Sincerely a retired teacher after 19 dedicated years, Kristi Perry 512.653.7979
