We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

I am tired of seeing stories of school district's not standing behind their teachers. This man did nothing wrong and should not be punished for trying to keep students safe!

He was not wrong!! The parent will think she is right to do that if he gets punished.

Do the right thing and support your teachers!

The teacher should be commended for trying to stop a maniac woman that had no business being in that parking lot. Police normally give tickets to people caught using parking lots as short cuts. Its illegal plus the woman had the audacity to do it during the busy morning time but she is acting like the victim when she was the problem. Would you rather it had been a child she hit rather then a teacher trying to stop a woman driving past cones into an area cars were not to be in? This teacher should be getting praised for trying to stop an idiot driver.

The parent was out of line !! Obey the rules . They are there for your safety and for the children's. C'mon quit being selfish.

Please do not punish this teacher. The mother was breaking the rules. While his actions may have been unorthodox, it's frustrating to me that he would be punished when the parent was the one who started the problem. When will parents be held accountable? Signed, A fellow Houston educator

When a person knowingly disobeys traffic areas and puts children at risk they need to be stopped not put on the news like they are in the right. Shame on her and shame on the news channel.

This mother is rediculous and she won’t answer any of my Facebook messages. Why is this ok? This teacher is a hero!

As a former educator who had to do morning duty every day, I solute you and thank you, sir! That parent and the station that played her twisted story owe you an apology. Give this guy a medal!

As a parent that deals with morning drop off, I have seen others take advantage of the situation when the lot is busy i.e. speeding or lack of concern for procedure. Although I was concerned for the safety of Mr. Morgan and his actions, the actions of the parent purposefully disregarding proper safety precautions is of greater concern. The area is properly marked for the safety of elementary school children, small children that are not easily seen when crossing. This teacher acted out of concern for his kids, the children of Dulles elementary. Thank you Mr. Morgan for not only being and educator but a protector of those kids.

What a shame that this teacher would face any negative actions by the school district. Instead they should stand behind him 100%.

Mr. Morgan should be applauded for doing everything to protect the children. The irresponsible parent using the closed lanes should be fined or ticketed.

I want this teacher at my grandkids school! He was willing to put himself in harms way to make sure the kids were safe. Rita needs to be arrested for trespassing and not abiding by safety rules at an elementary school. She may have endangered children.
