This teacher should be commended in trying to keep the school safe. Parents need to realize that they have to follow the rules that were set in place for safety reasons.

It is absolutely ludicrous to think that this teacher might be punished for what he did. He should be rewarded for keeping the students as safe as possible. The fact she admittedly kept driving when others had told her to stop and she admitted she was using and elementary school as a short cut shows she was way way out of line. She obviously has some pull as it would have never maid the need otherwise. But she also stated to the hero teacher that he didn’t know who he was dealing with. Good gravy!!! This woman has beyond a lot of nerve to bring her story to the news for all of us unintitled parents to see the truth.

To punish this teacher is to condone breaking safety rules and procedures. This woman could have run over a child. This teacher could well have saved a life...at his own risk.

School admins shouldn't cower to whiny parents. This coach did what he did in the interest of doing RIGHT BY KIDS! Praise him for his dedication!

Great job! He didn't know if it was someone trying to do harm at a school or what. With all the bad things happening lately at schools he did the right thing. Protecting students! If the shortcut was safe it wouldn't be blocked off. Praise this teacher!
