Teachers should never be punished for keeping children safe!

I consider this man a hero. He did what needed to be done in order to show the community that he will protect the students under his watch. The driver was the one in the wrong by disregarding traffic signs, rules and procedures.

If anyone needs disciplined, it’s the lady for not following the rules and putting children’s lives in danger! Way to go, Mr. Morgan! You did the right thing!

Let Mr. Young be! He did what he had to do to ensure the safety of our children. We need to hear his side of the story as well but... Enough is enough!!!

I'm shocked that this even needs to be done. This man was doing his JOB and this lady takes entitlement to a whole new level.

The mother could have caused an accident , where there is children around . She ignored what she was told not to do out of lack of responsibility of getting her daughter to school on time and put others in potential danger . The teacher might have crossed the line a little but no more than the mother did . This man does not deserve to lose his job.

Mr. Morgan should be commended for caring so much for the children in his school.....this parent should be the one being shamed and put on display.

Mr. Morgan was just doing his job. Rita is no more important than anyone else. She should have followed the rules and this situation would not have happened!

Cones are there for safety. If a child was hit, then you would be asking why he didn't jump on the hood.

Bless him for putting his life above his students! This is the kind of action every teacher should be ready and willing tp take for their children.

Thank you stepping up and keeping children safe. I myself am a teacher and I would have done the same thing. Parents don't realize that we care for and love those children as they are our own and once on that school ground we will do what ever we need to too keep them safe. Shame on this lady for thinking she is more important then any one else that the rules do not apply to her!

Thank goodness for a teacher who was willing to stop at nothing to protect the safety of his students! Shame on the entitled woman who doesn't think the rules apply to her and shame on the school for not having the teacher's back!!

I support this heroic teacher! Children's safety is a teacher's ultimate concern. It's a disgrace to teachers everywhere to even consider disciplining this man for going above and beyond to ensure the safety of his students.
