I’m a teacher who also has to tend with parents that don’t think the rules apply to them. We have had some close calls. Students almost getting hit because the bad actions of parents. I can’t believe there is even a petition . The parent is at fault. Someone p,ease use common sense.

Your kidding me right? No way should this teacher who was trying to protect kids be disciplined for doing his job.

He absolutely did the right thing. I as a parent would have done the same.

My children would be lucky to have a teacher like Mr. Morgan. Kids come first! ALWAYS!! He is a hero.

This man is a Hero! I write this as a father of Elementary age child, and as a former FBISD alum. This is ridiculous that Fox makes this a story...shame on you for telling this ladies side only! Thank God no one was hurt!

Aaron stood against a dangerous woman who didn't care about our children's safety. He is a hero in plain clothes. He has our full support.

Entitlement runs deep. That woman was in the wrong and this teacher was in the right.

Rita admitted that she was told TWICE to stop and she ignored the adults both times. Mr.Morgan was protecting students and should not be punished. This is a classic example of stupidity trying to play victim.

I completely stand behind the Coaches actions! He was trying to protect the students of his school! The parent is in the wrong here and this suspension of the Coach is asinine!

Any teacher who is willing to put their own life at risk to save the life of an innocent child is a hero and the person who should be in a classroom, not reprimanded, teaching our children. They should be sung as a hero. As a mom of two students, I sing his praises and stand by him. That mother should be ashamed of herself and be grateful her saved her from having to live the rest of her life knowing she had hit an innocent person.

As a teacher and a parent, I believe this teacher is a hero. The mother should be fined and put in jail for endangering students.

No disciplinary action should be taken against this Hero of a teacher. He is the type of man that goes beyond for the safety of our children. That Parent violated the rules of safety and I'm proud he stood up to her. He did what needed to be done she had no attentions of stopping after repeated attempts to stop her.

Disciplinary actions should not be taken against this teacher. Quite frankly, Ms Rita was defiant twice until she was stopped. She was in a rush, so there's a great possibility was driving beyond the speed limit. Thank God no incident didn't occur where someone got hit, etc

I hope my kids have teacher's like Mr. Morgan! Teachers that put my kids and my kid's safety first! What would have happened if a Kindergartener were hit by a car because of an irresponsible parent disregarding MULTIPLE safety warnings of teachers waving their arms to stop someone who should have never been on THIS school's grounds!

I fully support this teacher and his actions. The parent was completely in the wrong. He should COMMENDED NOT REPRIMANDED!

That woman has a HIGH SCHOOL aged child, meaning she has years of car-line experience. Her being late should not give her the privilege of cutting the line in any way because of there are clearly other parents that were there before her and chances are high that if her daughter is late, then so is everyone else in that line. Much less, she drives through an area blocked off to traffic and then has her daughter video it. What is that teaching your high school child who is likely about to get a permit or license of her own about how she is allowed to drive? If she’s late, she can ignore rules of the road or directions of people in charge of the flow of traffic, and disregard the safety of everyone around her. What that woman did was trying to get revenge against the man who told her she was in the wrong about what she was doing. It’s probably been brought up at her daughter’s school by the administration as an issue too, much less if she was found showing her friends the video before it went public elsewhere.

We need more teachers with his passion of protecting our children. That parent knew she was wrong and didn’t think the rules applied to her
