Children safety first! We let parents run to school for far too long. Time to back up the teachers!

Teachers should NOT be disciplined for protecting students from entitled parents who think the rules don’t apply to them. Had she hit a child, where would the board stand on that????

That parent was in the wrong!!! Any one of us teachers would have done the same thing to keep our students safe. She should be banned from coming near the school for her irresponsible behavior and lack of respect and school authority

I’m a kindergarten teacher. I have worked car pool lines and it’s ridiculous! Kudos to you sir for protecting your students! Shame on that news channel for making that parent a victim!

This teacher went above and beyond to protect the students at the school. The driver should be given a ticket for not driving safely in a school environment.

The teacher was doing everything he could to keep students safe. He was protecting students from a dangerous driver that to her own admission she was breaking the rules and not stopping after being waved to stop. This teacher should be commended for his actions and thanked for protecting students.

So what you're saying is, it's absolutely ok for people to break the law? Give me a freaking break! Aaron is a hero and I want him in my morning dropoff/afternoon pick-up line! Rita is absolutely in the wrong here thinking she is entitled to do as she pleases. Do not punish this man for her wrong doing!

I’m sorry to say, this self intitled parent, who was adequately warned twice, admits to knowing she was in the wrong, continues to defend her position of “doing the wrong thing because it was convienent for her as she was running late” then feels victimized because this teacher took corrective action ! He should in NO WAY be disciplined. Granted cooler heads should have prevailed but sometimes you have to make a stand to get the point made. It’s an extremely chaotic, stressful and rushed situation during student drop off on a good day, irresponsible parents like Rita only make it more difficult! Thankfully, this young man is there to lookout for the students.
