Stop letting parents run the school. Had he not done this and parent ran over a child school / district would be in trouble.

This lady got what she deserved. She is NOT entitled! I want this teacher to protect my children no matter how "unorthodox" they say it may have been. Some people. That woman. Thinks she's entitled because...?

You have to make this an example to all parents that they don’t run the school. If a teacher is willing to step in front of s bullet or throw himself on a car, he should get a medal! Ticket the parent and do the right thing people!!

Being the parent of a very petite child that drops her kiddo off at school, instead of riding the bus due to size, I 150% support this teacher for what he did! When you are flying through places and a younger child darts out, they can be easily missed. This is why these boundaries are set in place!!! How dare she think because she is a teacher herself she is exempt from these rules?!?! Asinine if you ask me!!!!! I support him and think she should be disclipined for her wring doing!!!!

I am in support of Mr. Morgan. It is sad when an adult can feels they do not have to follow the same rules and standards as anyone else. What would have happened if it was a child walking or in the way instead of Mr. Morgan. That poor baby would not be here today. I feel that he was brave and to be punished for acting with his heart is ridiculous. What about the driver who not only put the lives of adults in danger, but children as well.

We need more teachers like this awesome human! He obviously values the lives of all students unlike the driver of the car. Thank you Mr. Morgan!

In full support of this teacher! That parent is 1000% in the wrong. He was doing to his job. Shame on Rita for thinking she is above the rules. Next time, she should wake up on time to get her kid to school on time. This teacher did the right thing.

This teacher should be praised for stopping that moron from cutting through just because she "was late" The day we start punishing teachers for protecting our children is the day our nation will start to fall! I want to see legal consequences done against that parent for endangering children!

This teacher was doing his job! Protecting the kids. That parent was out of line and they should be facing consequences. Not this kind man!

I cannot believe the audacity of this woman. The section was blocked off for a reason, to protect the children. They saying poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part comes to mind. People who feel as entitled as this woman are what is wrong with the world. What example is she setting for her daughter? This teacher is a hero, she just pissed off because she was inconvenienced.

As a teacher at an elementary school I've witnessed close calls between distracted or hurried drivers and students. This teacher was totally right to protect students and colleagues from a driver who had no right to be on that campus.
