Sending the wrong message by punishing someone trying to protect children.

Please do not let this teacher go. His job is to teach PE, yet he went beyond that job description in an effort to keep students safe.

As an educator myself, what this man did should be applauded. His job was to look out for the safety of his kids. If this women decided to ignore the cones, she could have put children at risk. His response when she failed to stop and tried to go around is entirely appropriate.

I believe that this educator did what was necessary to help keep students and faculty at this school safe. The parent needs to be ticketed for her obvious and blatant disregard for the safety of students and faculty. What if her child were walking across the street and got hit by a driver doing the same thing she did? We lead by example and Mr. Morgan is a great example of what a guardian looks like.

I watched this video and am appalled by this parents blatant disregard for rules and for the safety of students and staff.

As a teacher myself, I have seen entitled parents think they are above the law too many times. Time to show at least one that rules and laws are meant to be followed for everyone's safety.

I commend this young man. He was standing up for what's right. Being a teacher who works car rider duty daily, I have witnessed 2 of my co-workers (on 3 separate occasions) being hit by cars because of people that feel they do not have to abide by the rules. Enough is enough. Keep our children safe.

This amazing teacher out the safety of the children first. He had not regard for his own safety. Rita seems to think that the needs of her own children should be more important than the safety of others. I’m disgusted that she thinks what this teacher did was out of line. She was out of line.

Shame on Fox News for running this story! Rita needs a reality check. I feel like if the teacher was a cop this wouldn’t be a story. Doing drop off duty as a teacher is getting harder each day with people like Rita in the world! Aaron and all others doing drop off duty stay strong!!!

Keeping students safe is the schools top priority and that is want this teacher was doing. If that parent would have caused an accident, people would have asked why no one stopped her. This teacher did his job, he protected students the best way he could.

He was protecting students from an out of control parent. Hold the parent responsible for her actions

How dare that entitled, arrogant parent threaten the teacher who was trying to protect the students frim her selfish actions. And shame on the district for not standing behind him.
