Outraged! Entitled parents do not get to put their personal concerns over children’s safety.

Are you kidding me lady? You talk about the behavior of this teacher. You got some nerve, let's talk about your selfish behavior to not follow the driving safety rules of the elementary school. You have my full support Coach Young.

Why is she not in jail? What a horrible lesson to teach her own daughter. I am 100% behind this teacher!

The teacher was doing what needed to be done. This parent was out of order. He was protecting students what if it was a child walking at the time she decided to drive around an unapproved area??

The parent should be ticketed and the teacher should be awarded. He went thru great lengths to protect the children and school.

What she did was not only immature but completely irresponsible. Your child is mot going to die being late to the high school but I guarantee running over an elementary student will change that kids life forever it end it. Shame on her for feeling so entitled!

Do not terminate this teacher. He was wrong to jump on the hood. However, I hope the school district insists the parent get a ticket and it seems her daughter also broke district cell phone rules.

With her own words, Rita has said she was doing the wrong thing. She disregarded several safety measures put in place to protect those Elementary students because she was getting her daughter to school late. Listening to the news story was unbelievable. Coach Morgan did his job.

Amen to a coach protecting our children. Selfish, self entitled parents need to be given a reality check big time! Especially when it comes to child endangerment and safety procedures. What a tremendous jerk of a parent to try this crap!

What would have happened if Ms. Trimmer-Ray had hit a student, staff member or other innocent pedestrian while breaking traffic rules & disrupting the normal drop-off procedure? I am sure if that were the case, many people would have asked where a courageous staff member like Mr. Young-Morgan was to prevent such a disaster. Recognize this man for being proactive, taking responsibility and initiative to protect his students at all costs and hold Ms. Trimmer-Ray accountable for her disgraceful actions. Mr. Young-Morgan has done nothing wrong here.

The teacher shouldn't be disciplined but the parent should be!

How are we to teach children to follow safety rules and procedures, yet there are parents circumventing those safeguards with reckless abandon? Good on this teacher for taking a stand to enforce the rules.
