He did the right thing. The lady was so focused on what she wanted, she continued to drive while he was on her hood, with small children and low visibility.

He actually is protecting our kids and teaching them to take responsibility for their actions (SHE WAS LATE AND WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE AT THAT SCHOOL) yet he is wrong? Hell no! She is wrong he deserves a raise or promotion!! The kinda man I want teaching my kids any day!!!

I am an elementary school teacher in another state and when I have had to do duties during drop off or dismissal I have been flipped off, yelled at, and ignored all because I was doing what we were trained to do to keep the kids safe. If you are running late just know that it isn't the end of the world and try to plan better (if you hadn't been running late this wouldn't have happened in the first place)! Take a deep breath and remember priorities - safety of all first! Last, remember it isn't all about YOU!

Teacher was protecting elementary kids during the most hectic part of the day. Punishment for him making sure children our save because someone couldn't be late and do the right thing and wait?! Ridiculous.

He was doing his job, she was breaking the rules going around the cones and could have endangered children. She needs to take responsibility for her actions!

Idiot parents need to treated like the idiot's they are. They're time is no more important than the other parents in line. I would like to know how THEIR child acts at school with this kind of parent behavior.

Her actions are unacceptable as an adult, the educator should not be punished for trying to stop a potentially hazardous driver entering into a blocked off location.

Shame on the news for reporting him in the wrong! What if this careless mother had hit a child! There are cones set up for their morning drop off for multiple reasons of safety. Too many parents feel they are the exception to the rule, until their kid is involved. What does that teach our children? Parents need to be teaching by example following rules and how to treat others. He is a hero in my book! Thank you for protecting the children.

Its time that the administration and school board start supporting our teachers again if not soon no one is going to want to go into that field and we will have no more educators!!!!

Rita should be ashamed of herself. Coach Morgan, I stand behind you decision to sacrifice yourself for those defenseless babies! He should not be punished.
