We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

The parent in question was in the wrong- she even said as much on the news segment. She ignored multiple signs and protests from the elementary school she cut through. Yes she was late and would have to get back in that line- like EVERYONE ELSE IN THAT LINE- we all have places to be and run late sometimes. Doesn't make us more important than all the other people in the same boat. This teacher took a drastic action to make an impact. It clearly was needed as that parent still sees nothing wrong with what she did.

You go dude!! Don’t stop protecting our kids and following rules!!

The woman that wanted to cut thru the parking lot. Her actions were wrong. She needs to apologize to the school, the students and parents. Had she hit a child by breaking the rule. Everyone would be ok TV talking about why didn’t anyone stop her. This teacher should get an award for sacrificing his body trying to stop her. Multiple teachers tried to flag her down and she kept going. Until a brave teacher intervened. Prosecute the lady. Reward the teacher.

This teacher absolutely does not deserve any repercussion for his actions. The lady, however, should be slapped with a nice fine at the very least for being an entitled, selfish person.

Bless this man for his actions - there was nothing violent about it at all. I can only hope all teachers would protect my child the way he was trying to protect all of his. Good luck sir and thank you for being what every teacher should be!

This teacher should be given recognition for his actions. Although jumping on the hood of a car may seem much, what would the action have been had the entitled parent hit an elementary child?

The parent needs to follow rules just like everyone else.
